Reckon if I "go public" that will spur me on!?
I'm a married, vegetarian animal-lover who is fairly new to train(eo)ing!
PS Have set an interim weight-loss goal as I'm not sure what my ultimate goal will be.

At last I have found someone who I can relate to! I am 55 and just beginning my journey. I live alone and wish I had a "hubby" to encourage me, but he left so here I am! I read your website and think that you could be an inspiration, so just to let you know, I will be following your progress. Keep up the good work. I'm going to be cheering for you!
You are doing wonderful in your journey on being healthy.
I know you should be very proud of yourself.
I sure hope you are feeling better.
Your new friends are here for you.
Keep up the great work.
Blessings,
Debbie
I think we would be good contacts. I am not a vegetarian, but that doesn't seem to matter. Congratulations on your 15 lbs you have lost so far.
Every pound is one less.
One day at a time, one meal at a time.
And for me STAYING OUT OF THE KITCHEN !!!!
I love to bake, but try not to anymore. Because I am home to eat it.
I like your blog, don't know how to do one, but maybe one day I will learn.
How do I put you as one of my contacts? Haven't figured that out. Or is it putting you down as one of my motivators?
Enjoy your day,
Blessings, Debbie

Thanks Ann,
Slowly getting back onto the straight and narrow, after a few hiccups. Haven't gained any weight but haven't lost much either! Have taken early retirement, so will have more time for healthy living, not to mention hubby and the cats! Best wishes to you too
Lost weight this week more because of a dastardly tummy bug than good eating. Feeling better now, so back to not eating what I shouldn't and exploring the elliptical programmes!
Diet ok
Training not so good...Too cold, too rainy, too windy, too dark, too busy, etc
New eliptical trainer should arrive any day, hopefully that will spur me into action! Watch this space...
Being a positive thinker all the time is difficult. On the other hand, being a negative thinker can be harder on you emotionally. If you tend to indulge in negative self-talk, ask yourself, "What do I really gain by beating myself up emotionally regarding my weight?" So the next time you find that you're being a little hard on yourself, nip it in the bud, address the concern and form a strategy to do better.
Sure it's alright if you use those words. I actually got them from an e-mail Bally sent me. They send me diet and motivation tips daily, but that one really stuck out. I'm glad it's helping you!
